RECOMMENDATIONS FOR FILLING OUT APPLICATIONS

Take time in filling out the application. EVERY APPLICATION MUST BE TYPED

Be neat and PROOFREAD your document. Check for spelling and grammatical errors, especially in your essays. ***Ask some one else to read through your application!

Be aware of due dates for your applications and for requesting any recommendations from teachers or others. Do not ask them to fill out a recommendation form at the last minute.

Write down and save the names of those who agreed to write recommendations for you.

Paperclip applications together. Fancy report binders, etc. will be removed for ease in processing/coping applications. A simple paper clip keeps your papers free from staple remover rips or loss of money on binders we don’t include during delivery.

DON’T WAIT UNTIL THE FINAL WEEK TO START COMPLETING APPLICATIONS.

TAKE THE TIME TO FOLLOW UP WITH THANK-YOU CARDS FOR SPONSORS WHO HAVE CHOSEN YOU AS THEIR SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT AND FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO WROTE YOU A LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION.

**Several dollar amounts vary from year to year based on interest rates and other outside variables. The amount indicated on this form may be more or less than the amount you will receive. Each scholarship committee has the right to make this decision without notifying the school**

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

*There are several scholarship search sites out there. We recommend you NEVER pay someone to find scholarships for you. This is more often then not a scam.

**Don’t forget to call the financial aid office at your college(s) of choice to learn more about scholarships and financial aid they offer. Often people wait to long too ask for this information and they miss early deadlines. Call Now!
