GHS had 4 students compete at the Grand American Trap Shooting Tournament in Sparta, IL, at the beginning of August. The Grand American is an international tournament supported by the American Trap Association with over 2000 participants.  All of the students performed well over the multi-day event, with each student shooting 200 rounds. Rachel Lay and Will Cole had personal best records set at this year’s event.  At an earlier event this summer, Jaykob Rhodes won the Class C Indiana State Tournament hitting 99 of 100 targets. Below are the scores for each student at the Grand American.

Will Cole:  158/200
Arianne Hammond:  186/200
Rachel Lay: 132/200
Jaykob Rhodes:  189/200
